Your waist measurement is divided (in centimetres) by the measurement of your hips (in centimetres). A waist-to-hip ratio greater than 0.9 for men while 0.85 for women indicates an increased risk to health.

B) Your waist-to-height ratio
Cut your waist measurement (in centimetres) by your height (in centimetres). To maintain your health, research shows that keeping your waist circumference at less than half of your height - or a ratio no bigger than 0.5 should be considered a wise choice.
